KC Mingle
KC Mingle is a gender-inclusive platform designed for women, non-binary individuals, and anyone who identifies outside the traditional gender binary, offering a safe and supportive space to connect, share interests, and build meaningful friendships in the Kansas City area.
Inspiration
After graduating college and entering the workforce, I found it unexpectedly difficult to make new friends. Without the structure of school, and especially during the isolating period of COVID-19, I struggled to meet people organically in a safe and meaningful way. This experience inspired me to create KC Mingle—a platform designed to help women and non-binary individuals in the KC area connect with others who share the same desire for friendship, all while prioritizing safety and mutual interests.
